ast Thursday was mine and Pete’s
fourth anniversary so we went out
for dinner at Nobu [below] because
we both love sushi. It was so nice to
spend the evening together. We bought
each other some little bits and pieces, and
of course a card each, which is the most
important bit. Pete
also shared some
gorgeous images
from our wedding
day [below and
bottom] – it’s so
lovely to look back
on the memories.

Earlier that day I went to the Tommy’s
Awards at the Oxo Tower in London. The
charity’s awards recognise families who
have faced pregnancy complications or the
loss of a baby from miscarriage, stillbirth
or prematurity. It was such an amazing
afternoon. Giovanna Fletcher hosted the
event and she did a fabulous job. It was
lovely to meet her and Frankie Bridge [right].
Amy Hart’s exit from Love Island was
really emotional. I felt sorry for her and
it’s good to hear she’s been getting
psychological support. Some people
have said she was overreacting, but she’s
never been in a relationship before so it
can be hard to deal with these issues
for the first time, especially on national
television. Others have questioned
whether or not she should have been
allowed on the show without having had
a boyfriend before as Love Island is a
psychologically demanding programme,
but they obviously thought she was
strong enough. I don’t think it’s a bad
thing that she left – I say good on her
for putting her mental health first. I don’t
think Curtis did anything wrong as
it’s always better to be honest. It would
have been worse to string her along
for months.

T

he government has revealed
a new partnership between
the NHS and Amazon Alexa to
allow people to get expert health
advice. Starting this week you
can automatically search the
official NHS website when you
ask for health-related advice. The
government has said it could
reduce demand on the NHS, and I
think it’s just the start of technology
being used more and more to help
people to seek advice for their
health. We’ve had our Alexa for
ages now and we still love it so will
definitely try out this new feature.

I

t’s brilliant news that boys aged 12 and 13 will
be offered HPV vaccines [below] at school for
the very first time. It really makes sense because
even though boys can’t get cervical cancer
they can still get a whole variety of cancers
related to HPV (Human papillomavirus). It’s been
reported that the vaccines
will prevent 29,000 cancers
in the UK in men in the
next 40 years. If you have
a child who is older or just
misses the threshold then
you could consider getting
it done privately. While
they’re not cheap, it is
something to consider. OK!
