What’s more, each copy comes with a £30
Mr & Mrs Smith voucher to put towards
any hotel or villa in its collection. If you’re
looking for a cheeky staycation in town,
I recently stayed at the beautifully decadent
Zetter Townhouse in Marylebone, in its
Wes Anderson-esque
Lear’s Loft suite (left).
Outdoor terrace with
bathtub aside, the
sumptuous and dark
bar is definitely worth
a visit for afternoon
tea or cocktails.
Snake prints can
slither onto my radar
as much as they like,
but I am a leopard
lass through and through, and nothing
roars louder than this waterproof Munthe
trench coat, which I’ve added straight
to the top of my wish-list this month.
I recently discovered Atelier Cologne
and its heavenly-smelling, long-lasting
perfumes, candles and body products.
Visit the Covent Garden boutique to
test all the scents yourself, where they
also offer a wonderful embossing service
for your chosen fragrance (my favourite
is Pomélo Paradis – delicious!).

ardly a cagoule, I know,
but my preferred ‘wet
weather gear’ includes this
phenomenal faux-leather
skirt from Alexa Chung
(right), which after I wore
for a shoot, I immediately went and bought
from Net-a-porter. The high waist works
brilliantly with my cropped Rouje shirt,
and favourite sustainably crafted, handmade
Dear Frances boots, which I barely take off
these days. Oh, and for every pair of their
boots purchased, the brand sends a pair
of shoes to a person in need... Bootiful!
Love might be in the air for some this
month, but can be worn by all, thanks to
Sophie Lis. The London-based jeweller’s
latest pendant, inspired by the 19th-century
French poet Rosemonde Gerard’s ‘The
Eternal Song’, symbolises love with the
words ‘more than yesterday, less than
tomorrow’ (‘+ qu’hier, - que demain’). Ooh, la
la... And as an avid dog lover, the designer
donates ten per cent of sales to Wild At Heart
Foundation, which re-homes and protects
four-legged friends all over the world.
If you’re in need of some woo-worthy
location inspiration, Mr & Mrs Smith’s
296-page coffee-table book The World’s Sexiest
Bedrooms, filled with the most seductive of
suites, would be a good place to start.
