GRANDDAYOUT

P

utting any rumoured feud
aside, Mel B joined her
Spice Girls bandmate
Geri and her husband
Christian Horner at Silverstone for
the British Grand Prix last week.
While Geri looked ready for
business in a white, double-
breasted Balmain jacket and
trousers, Mel donned a chic
khaki green sleeveless dress, at
one point cheekily teaming her
look with a driver’s helmet! Geri
and Christian’s two-year-old son
Monty was trackside,
too, taking in the exciting
action of the sporting
spectacular, which Lewis
Hamilton won for a record
sixth time.
It was also a family
day out for Catherine
Zeta Jones and Michael
Douglas, who were joined
by their 18-year-old son
Dylan. The trio caught a
helicopter to the track and
posed for family pictures.
Catherine, who turns 50
in September, shared one
snap online, captioning it:
‘Race time!! On the grid.’
The couple, who live in
New York, made the most
of their time in England,
also playing tourists with a
trip to Buckingham Palace
and taking in the action
of the men’s singles final
at Wimbledon.
Meanwhile, James
Bond himself, Daniel
Craig lent his support
to the Red Bull team at
Silverstone. Keen F1 fan
Daniel took some time
away from filming the
latest instalment of the
007 films. Olympics hero
Mo Farah was also joined
by his wife Tania Nell as
the watched Hamilton
roar to victory.
