fter welcoming their beloved daughter on July
4, GEMMAATKINSON and GORKAMARQUEZ
shared the first glimpse of the tot with the world
last week. And the proud parents (left) also revealed
that they have named the little girl Mia Louise Márquez.
The heartwarming snap shows the newborn dressed
in a white vest, socks and an adorable pink cardigan
(below left). Her mop of dark hair led fans to comment
that she looked like her Spanish father.
After welcoming their first child, Gemma and Gorka
told the world they ‘couldn’t be happier’ to be parents.
Former Emmerdale star Gemma, 34, who met Gorka
during the 2017 series of Strictly Come Dancing, also
revealed details of Mia’s first few weeks. ‘I’m not sure
how but we’ve been blessed with the most chilled out,
calm, zen like baby who so far eats and sleeps every
4hrs like a topper and in between is happy amusing
herself having a good old kick and wriggle in her
pram,’ she said.
While all now sounds idyllic in the Márquez
household, the pair had previously spoken of
Mia’s tricky arrival. ‘She certainly made an entrance,
giving us all quite a fright at times! Little Miss
independent already,’ Gemma (below) said.
Meanwhile Gorka, 28, added that his girlfriend was
an ‘absolute hero’ and a ‘trouper’ during the birth.
