The Elite series of gaming monitors represents a new
design ethos at ViewSonic. While the company’s
previous gaming displays were dominated by drab grays
with no RGB to be seen, the Elite monitors are all black

the housing.

display, where it encompasses the stand mounting
bracket (which doubles as a VESA mount and a
headphone rest) with a hexagonal ring. These lights can
be programmed to show either static or pulsing rings in
various colors, including a full rainbow that embraces
R̆EHDWDHVWKHWLFVVXFKDVQHRQSLQNRQ\HOORZZLWKD
blue matte background.
Two more RGB strips at the bottom of the display can
be controlled independently of the rear ring and retain
the same color palette. You can also sync the RGB
VWULSVWRRQHRIWKUHHGL̆HUHQWFRQWUROOHUSURJUDPV
thanks to ViewSonic being a part of the so-called RGB
Alliance: Cooler Master’s MasterPlus+ (for PC case
lighting), Razer’s Chroma (for mice, keyboards, and
headsets), and Thermaltake’s RGB Plus (for PC cases
and accessories).
