his new product from
the Shesto Modelcraft
Collection is a versatile
support tool for holding
odd shapes & smaller components while
painting, filing, sawing, engraving or
gluing. The clamp head can be removed
from the base and fitted to a larger bench
vice if required. The wooden handle is
fitted with inbuilt rubber ring making
the work holder stable & non-slip. The
work holder can grip from the outside or
from within. The pins can also be used
for bending and forming wire. The tool
comes with 8 steel pins which can be placed
anywhere on the head to accommodate
various shapes and model parts.
This tool is ideal for holding things steady
whilst you brush paint, especially if you are
a figure painter. The pins can be positioned
anywhere on the head meaning the most
obscure shapes can be safely held steady.
This is one of those tools which, whilst
not being an essential, you will find a useful
addition to your modelling armoury. I
know I will be using it for my fantasy figure
