look. A black wash was then added
around all the raised and lowered
details, and in the corners and joints.
A irst layer of dust was then added
to the lower side of the vehicle, with
more at the rear of the truck. This
was applied with my airbrush using
Vallejo Light. A beige wash on the
wheels then enhanced the dust and
dirt in the tread pattern, and also on
their insides. I also used beige and
brown pigments combined with
diferent beige, brown and grey
washes to weather the wooden loor
of the trailer and used rusty washes
on the metal parts of the trailer
and between the wooden boards.
Tamiya Smoke was then mixed
Gloss and applied as
leaking oil on
the trailer loor and on the fuel tank.
Some Ultra Matt then gave a realistic
fabric look to the tarpaulin, and white
and grey pigments emphasied the
folds, highlights and shadows. I have
to say this is a fantastic kit and is more
