comes with the choice of either open or
closed hatches and I chose to close them.
The top and bottom parts of the hull are
also ixed with poly-caps, but I opted to glue
them together. So, with construction inished
I considered the painting stage, for which
I had paint set from Ammo by MIG, that I
wanted to try, so I set out to paint the tank
Russian Green!
Time now for some chipping, weathering
and general dirt and grime, so irst I applied
several thin coats of rust
coloured paint. Some areas were then
were covered with Ammo by MIG Chipping
Medium and left to dry. Then later, the entire
tank was sprayed White. Once dry I armed
myself with water to soften the chipping
medium, a toothpick and a stif-bristled
paintbrush, and I began to chip away the
white paint to expose the underlying
colours. When reasonably satisied I painted
the lettering on the turret and faded these
a little before I put the tank to one side and
started working on the tracks. These are the
