REVELL

T

he fabulous Revell Eurofighter Typhoon from 2016 makes
a welcome return with yet another special scheme. Despite
comprising only 85 parts, this kit really is sublime with a beautifully
detailed cockpit, undercarriage bays and surface detail all on show.
Actual construction is straightforward and should present no issues
at all, which is great because it allows you to tackle that spectacular green
and black Tiger scheme, Typhoon 31+00 “Ghost Tiger”, Tigermeet 2018,
Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 74- Neuburg AB.

The star of this kit is the decal sheet without doubt; it is just stunning. How
it works in reality though will remain to be seen, though if past experiences are
anything to go by, it should be a breeze so long as you adhere to the paint and
marking guide and plan your way around the airframe working from the spine out
to the wing tips in a methodical manner. Painting should be easy enough as it
features a standard German Air Force air superiority grey camoufl age over which
the decals are applied - easy, eh?! Beware though: there are more decals than
parts in this kit which has to be a fi rst in 1:72 we think!

VERDICT

The kit itself should present no issues, so if you are comfortable matching up complex decal schemes then go for it as this will be a truly spectacular model to
add to your collection. (Mike Williams)
