hosted by the IPMS branches-South East

at The Boomerang Community Centre,

The Boomerang Community Centre,

10 Kemback Street, Dundee, DD4 6ET.

Numerous club displays, traders, an open

competition and a tombola. Car parking

and refreshments available. Entrance

IPMS Avon Model Show to be held at

Thornbury Leisure Centre, Thornbury

Leisure Centre, Alveston Hill, Thornbury,

BS35 3BJ. IPMS Avon in connection

with Lincombe Barn Wargaming society

presents a Plastic Model and Wargaming

Show. One of the largest one day shows

in the South. Over 40 Trade stands Over

80 club stands and Special Interest

Groups (SIGs). Bring and buy stand for

wargamers ‘Open Model’ competition,

wargaming competitions. FREE “make

and take” for children, Tombola, Hot

and cold refreshments available all day.

Wheelchair access and facilities, free car

parking and easy access from M4/M5.

Admission: Adults £5, Children

under 16 £2.

Echoes Of History 2019 too be held at

Purleigh Halt, Barons Lane, Purleigh,

Essex, CM9 6PF. This is a model show

within the Echoes of History show:

The show runs over two days and is a

gathering of reenactors of all periods

of history with set pieces and arena

displays. Also on show will be many

restored military vehicles, aircraft

cockpits and a fl ypast by the Battle of

Britain Memorial Flight. The organisers

are keen to have a modelling presence.

Boscombe Down Aviation Collection

to hold their Fourth Model Show in

Hangar 1, Old Sarum Airfi eld, Old Sarum,

Salisbury, SP4 6DZ. Displays by model

clubs across the region along with

trade stands and other displays. Entry

includes the model show and museum,

as well as the experience of sitting in a

fast jet cockpit!

to be held at The Rix Pavilion, The

Rix Pavilion, Driffi eld Showground

Kelleythorpe, Driffi eld, East Yorkshire

YO25 9DN. Show to include clubs and

SIGs, ‘make and take’ event and traders

covering a wide range of modelling

interests. There will be an informal

competition, hot and cold refreshments

and free parking. Admission prices:

Adults £3.50 (including IPMS members)

with children up to 15yrs being free if

accompanied by a paying adult.
