The Chance

Of A Lifetime

The state-of-the-art IMG Academy in Florida is

accepting applications for both the 2019-2020

school year and its bespoke golf camps

S

ome opportunities are too
good to pass up, and for
young student-athletes, this
is one of them. IMG

Academy – the world’s largest and

most advanced multi-sport training

and educational institution – is
accepting applications for the

2019-2020 school year – and here’s

your chance to apply. With golf camp
spaces also available, IMG Academy in

Florida offers a life-changing

opportunity for aspiring
golf professionals.

Over the last 40

years, IMG Academy
has developed

thousands of athletes,

many of whom have
progressed to the very

top of their sports. No

other golf academy has

won as many junior
tournaments – over 950

college scholarships or
put as many players on

professional tours.

A great deal of this
success can be attributed to its unique

boarding school, an option for those

aged 12 to 19. Living within the
600-acre all-inclusive campus allows

students to flourish academically as

well as socially, and benefit fully from
its professional-grade sports facilities.

For golfers, this includes the

academy’s very own 18-hole

championship golf course, a short

game area, putting green, driving range
and state-of-the-art tour studio, all of
which attract many a professional for a
practice session.
“It’s like a mini Olympic Village,” says
Director of Golf, Kevin Craggs, who
oversees a team of some 20 dedicated
golf coaches and experts.
“You’re not going to find better
facilities and a more structured
environment to grow academically or
as an athlete anywhere in the world.

“The whole place is designed to
improve you as a human being and
maximise your potential. You can come
here as a beginner and a programme
can be structured according to your
age and ability. From there, it’s about
getting you to a point where you have
choices when you leave.”
England international Annabell Fuller
started boarding full-time last year and

is one of many students to thrive at the
academy. “This place has helped me to
mature and learn to do things by
myself,” says Fuller, who, after finishing
tied second in the English Women’s
Amateur Championship last year, was
