Justin Rose’s strength with the putter is his
rhythm rolling the rock.
He has a typical metronome-like stroke where
the putterhead strokes back on one beat and
through to impact on the next.
Rhythm is one of the most important things a
lot of people don’t get right with their own stroke.
For example, if you are too quick to the ball,
chances are you will leave the putterface open.
Conversely if you decelerate the putterhead, the
bottom hand takes over the stroke and pulls putts
to the left (for right-handers).
Every golfer has their own stroke rhythm but
the key is consistency to ensure the putterhead
