ettling down on
the sofa with a cup
of coffee in my
hand, I reached for
my laptop.
It was Christmas
Eve 2018 and the living room
was lit up from the glow of the
fairy lights.
There were lots of presents
beneath the Christmas tree.
Now after a busy day spent
last-minute shopping, and I
finally had a moment to myself.
‘Time to play some bingo!’
I said to my husband Mark, 54.
You see, relaxing with a game
of online bingo is one of my
favourite pastimes. Ever since
joining Chat Mag Bingo in
2017, I’ve been a huge fan.
Years ago, I used to go to
local bingo halls with my
friends and family.
Only times changed, many of
the local halls closed, and as a
busy mum and grandma, it
wasn’t as easy
to get out
and about.
That’s why
playing from
the comfort
of my own
home really
appealed
to me.
As I logged
in, I decided to
play a linked
game of
Sapphire Bingo, a 90-ball
game, and my favourite.
It’s so easy and fun to
play, and I love chatting
to other players in the
chatrooms too.
Tickets were 10p,
I bought 12 for the
game at 8.30pm.
Then, I sat back, and
enjoyed watching the
numbers called.
It was exciting to watch asGran Canaria here we come...

my numbers were dabbed off
one by one.
My most complete tickets
were automatically pushed to
the top of the screen, so I could
see how close I was getting to
a Full House.
Exciting.
Then, a message flashed up
on my screen: Congratulations,
you are a winner!
Shocked, I couldn’t believe
what I was seeing.
‘Look, Mark,
I’ve won!’
I cried out,
in disbelief
and joy.
My last
number
had been
called.
And
sure
enough,I’d got the Full House, and won
the £1,000 jackpot!
‘Oh my goodness, I can’t
believe it!’ I squealed.
‘What a thing to happen on
Christmas Eve!’ Mark beamed.
As I broke the good news to
my grown-up children, they
couldn’t believe it either.
‘That’s amazing, Mum!
What are you going to do
with the money?’ my eldest
Jade, 29, asked excitedly
over the phone.
That was a
good question...
Mark and I
discussed what
we wanted
to do with
the £1,000.
We
decided
to put
some
money
towards
a new
laptop,
some clothes
for me and the
grandchildren.
But, best of all,
we booked a trip to
Gran Canaria with
my brother Andre,
64, and his partner
for September2019.
Gran Canaria is such a
special location.
Mark and I went there for
our honeymoon 33 years ago,
and have holidayed there with
the kids ever since.
We’ll be almost guaranteed
sunshine there!
Plus, we celebrated our silver
wedding anniversary there too.
Now we can’t wait to go!
It’s going to be amazing.
Looking back to the timing of
my win, it certainly sent us
into the New Year with a bang!
My win has been such a
great experience.
And my love of the site has
even had Mark signing up to
Chat Mag Bingo too!
I’d definitely recommend
giving online bingo a go.
It’s fun, easy to play, and
great entertainment.
And I’ll definitely be raising
