hueandsaturationtobeadjusted.However,as

wellascontrollingtheoverallbrightnessand

contrast,theToneCurvecontrolsallowyouto

adjust the strength of each colour channel and

itsoppositecolourbyclickingonthecurves

anddraggingupordown.It’sa powerful

controlthatneedstobeusedwithcare,butit

alsoenablesyoutoapplysomenicecreative

effects.Theoptionsaremany so don’t be

afraid to experiment.

PixelShiftMultiShootingwasintroducedwiththeSonyA7RIII andit enables
thecameratocreatelarger,moredetailedimages.Youdon’thavetoshoot
tetheredtousePixelShiftMultiShootingmode,butit’sanoptionyoucan
selectfromwithinRemote.
OncePixelShiftMultiShootingis selectedin Remoteyoucansetthe
numberof imagestocapture(thisvariesbycamera)andtheintervalbetween
them.Aftershooting,locateandselecttheseriesof imagesin Viewerbefore
selectingFile>CreatePxMultiShootCompositeImage(Create1 Image).
Next,selecttoapplyeachrawfile’sownsettingsandsetthefileformatand
storagelocationforthefinalimagebeforehitting‘Save’.Thesoftwarewillnow
compositetheimagesintoone.Asyoucan see, there is a lot that Sony gets
right with this proprietary software.
