Crew’s 1st Birthday—
and What’s Next
Chip and Joanna Gaines just celebrated
their son Crew’s milestone first birth-
day on June 21, but the Fixer Upper
stars still can’t believe how quickly their
fifth child is growing up. “I don’t even
know where time went,” Joanna, 41,
shared in a Magnolia blog post on
July 11. “That seemed like the fastest
and best year of our lives. This little boy
is so joyful and curious and is keeping us
on our toes. It’s been so amazing to see
him with his brothers and sisters.” The
couple—also parents to Drake, 14, Ella,
12, Duke, 10, and Emmie, 9—are busier
than ever, raising their family and run-
ning their massive business empire,
which includes Magnolia Market at the
Silos in Waco, their lifestyle magazine
The Magnolia Journal (like People, pub-
lished by Meredith), a real estate com-
pany and product lines with Target and
Anthropologie. A new coffee shop, Mag-
nolia Press, is set to open in Waco this
fall. But when it comes to their biggest
project to date, the launch of their own
TV network, Joanna says it’s been a
