IS THERE STILL SEX IN THE CITY?

More than two decades after Candace
Bushnell introduced the world to Carrie
Bradshaw and Co. in her first book, Sex
and the City, she delivers a smart new tale
about a group of 50-something women
navigating Manhattan’s dating scene.
Is There Still Sex in the City?, by Candace
Bushnell, Grove, $26; amazon.com.

THE JONAS BROTHERS: HAPPINESS BEGINS TOUR

It’s been six years since they’ve hit the road as a family, but the newly reunited
JoBros aren’t wasting any time getting back to their touring roots. Fresh off
the release of their new album, Happiness Begins, Kevin, Joe, and Nick are
performing a series of 40 concerts across North America, beginning August 7.
The siblings’ sound has certainly matured since their last joint venture, in 2013.
But we’re still suckers for their music—and proud of it.

ONCE UPON A TIME

IN HOLLYWOOD

Quentin Tarantino’s
latest drama premiered
to rave reviews at the
Cannes Film Festival
in May, and for good
reason. Set in 1969 L.A.,
the film—an ode to the
end of Hollywood’s
Golden Age—features
Leonardo DiCaprio and
Brad Pitt in the roles of
an aging TV actor and
his stunt double,
respectively, while
Margot Robbie (right)
plays ill-fated actress
Sharon Tate. Luke Perry,
Dakota Fanning, and Al
Pacino round out the
all-star cast (July 26).

THE KITCHEN

The crime drama follows three
New York City housewives
(played by Elisabeth Moss, Melissa McCarthy,
and Tiffany Haddish) who find themselves in
control of the Irish mafia’s affairs when their
mobster husbands are carted off to prison in
the 1970s. Turns out, they’re the most gangster
bosses Hell’s Kitchen has ever seen (August 9).
