When I was growing up, my mom put a
different twist on decorating Christmas
cookies beyond the traditional icing and
sprinkles. She would dye egg yolks so my
brother and I could paint our Christmas
sugar cookies all sorts of fun colors.
Christmas baking with my mom has
evolved beyond sugar cookies now, but I
believe these craft projects began the love
of art I have today!
