between the once-inseparable
brothers when Harry spoke
openly of their rift in Harry &
Meghan: An African Journey, the
Sussexes’ documentary, which aired
in October. For William, it was
the final straw — and one that
prompted him to give his younger
sibling an ultimatum: Next time,
talk to me first or we’re through.
“William told Harry how much it
hurt to hear negative things before
they’d had a chance to discuss
them as brothers,” says a source.

William’s request, and they’re
moving on... for now. “Harry’s
happy to go along with William’s
suggestion,” says the source.
He’s also agreed to be readily
available if and when William reaches
out. “William was quite adamant
about needing Harry to be on call
wherever he may be in the world.”
