Space cams
to help track
meteorites
TEN cameras designed to
track meteorites are being
installed across the UK.
Scientists want to be
able to locate fallen space
rocks, then send teams to
recover them for analysis.
It has been 30 years
since a meteorite was
found in Britain, in a back
garden in Glatton, Cambs.
University of Glasgow
researcher Dr Luke Daly
said: “Meteorites provide
us with valuable insights
into other planets and our
solar system.”

is separate to the inquiry into the
police’s fatal shooting of Amman.

Police Conduct said: “We served

dangerous driving and gross
misconduct. A criminal investiga-
tion doesn’t mean criminal charges
will necessarily follow. Misconduct
notices do not imply guilt.”

His colleague, in a marked
vehicle, did not collide and carried
on to the emergency.
