The results from that study are shown in Figure 4.4 (from Figure 4.2,
Gathercole & Moawad, 2010: 7). Those bilinguals tested in English per-
formed much lower than monolingual English speakers when English had a
wider category than Arabic. When English was narrower, the bilinguals
