reallygoodenough.With our visit, the
mainwaterfallflowedalmost 1,3kmwide.
It isunbelievable.
By thewaterfall isacute restaurant but
bewarned:youpayin US dollars. So, don’t
think that meal for twoisamere R42...
At themarketyoualsoneed to be strong.
Asignoutside themarketencouragesyou
to be friendly,but to also negotiate prices.
If youdon’tlikehagglingandbargaining, it
maybebesttostayaway.

Soul food in the delta
From Kasanewedriveto the Okavango
Delta.Theeasiest wayisthroughthe
Zambezi region,alsoknown astheCaprivi.
Wecamptwonightsinthe Kwanda Camp
next to the eponymousriver–another
extraordinary experience.
Theablutionfacilitiesare basically reed
shelters withoutaroof, but withwarm
water andflushtoilets.Themain building
is luxurious and boastsabeautifulwooden
deckfromwhereyoucanwatchthe river
whilesippingadrink.Someoneinour
group says thismoment is food for the
soul... andIcouldn’tagreemore.
Returningfrom the Caprivi to Botswana,
youhavetofacea30kmgravelroad–it’s
