Winged Pan Chang Knot

This is a modified pan changknot (page 64), with each outer loop bearing

three heart shapes, hence the name. Such shapes can be added to all pan chang

knot variations, such as the san cai knot (page 103).

Tying

Change the tying sequence of the pan changknot to create the three heart

shapes in the outer loops. More heart shapes can be added to an outer loop

by increasing its size.

Tips

• Adjust the size of each heart shape to highlight this knot.


• Hold down the body of the knot before and during adjustment of the heart
  shapes.
