DOUBLE CONNECTION KNOT 61
Double Connection Knot
The double connection knot is exactly what its name suggests – two knots tied into
one another. Half of one simple knot forms half of the other.
Tying
In this very stable knot, one cord end is used to tie one simple knot around the other
cord end. Then the other cord end is used to tie a simple knot around the first cord
end, linking through the loop of the first simple knot. The “x” pattern will appear
naturally if the cord is pulled from both top and bottom with equal force.
Tip
- Keep in mind the desired size of the top loop, or the space between the double
connection knot and the knot tied before it. The loops will become much larger than
they seem before tightening.
