Multiple Winged Pan Chang Knot
This is another variation on the pan changknot (page 64). It has multiple
overlapping wings on all sides, hence its name. Wings like these can be added
to all pan changknot variations, such as the san caiknot (page 103).
Tying
Change the tying sequence of the pan changknot to create the multiple wing
effect.
Tips
- Though using the same technique, the shape of the knot can change due to
the different sizes of the wings. - Hold the center of the knot firmly so that it does not loosen before and dur-
ing adjustment of the wings.
