when it crashed at Ohio Country Airport in Hartford, Kentucky. The aircraft
departed the airport when it appeared to have a mechanical problem and then
turned back to the airport It appears the aircraft stalled and crashed into a field.

FOKKER D.VII INCIDENT
One of the most revolutionary aircraft of the Great War was the Fokker D.VII. Over the years,
numerous replicas of this important aircraft have been built. One of the most exacting is N7756J, which
was a 15-year project. Powered by a Ranger six-cylinder in-line of 200-hp, the aircraft had accumulated
a number of successful flights but went up on its nose recently at Geneseo, New York, following what
looks like a failure of the right landing gear. Fortunately, damage appears to be minimal.

Undignified position for the beautiful D.VII replica.
