pickedupfor$80froma localop-shopandre-
coveredinwhite,suede-lookfabric.It wasn’tso
easytopicka couch,though.Theirlargebrown
leathersectionalsofatooktwoyearstofind,with
thecoupleunabletosettleona particularstyle.
“SanjaywantedfabricandI wantedleather;
hewantedtwoseparatecouches,andI wanted
onelargepiece.Weputupwithhorribleold
couchesfortwoyearsuntilwe finally found one
webothliked,”Jesssays.
Facingthecouch,theeclecticgallerywall
featuresworksbyNewZealandartists,most
ofwhomJesshasworkedwithovertheyears,
whilea displayofvintagemirrorshighlights just
a fewfromherever-growingcollection.
