Another issue is that iOS gaming is a relatively
small part of the overall gaming market, with
the vast majority of gamers preferring to play
on their Macs and PCs. However, it appears as
though Apple is working on a fix; as well as
making Apple Arcade games playable on the
Mac through Project Catalyst, the company is
working on a new ‘Pro Mode’ to allow for faster
software processing, faster app opening, and
faster navigation between apps, but this feature
comes with some drawbacks too. With Pro mode
turned on, there will be a decrease in battery life
and an increase in the fan sound, but it should
be ideal for gaming purposes.
