What has inspired your passion
for scented plants?I grew up in Scotland in a house that
had a large walled garden, and my
very earliest memories are of running
around outside among all the flowers.
I think my love of plants started
from then as I particularly loved the
scented wallflowers and fruit tree
blossom. My love of nature has
inspired me throughout my life.¤(Clockwise, from this

for its essential oils; richly
coloured flag irises; fields
of achillea; scented-
leaved pelargoniums
are a favourite of Julia’s.
