Fresh Scottish seafood is the order of
the day at Creel Caught, the kitchen
set up by Gary Maclean, National Chef
of Scotland. The menu has Scottish
seafood, from Shetland mussels to
Peterhead haddock, and sourced from
reputable fishmongers in line with
MCS Good Fish Guide.

The acclaimed Salt & Chilli Oriental is
the brainchild of award-winning TV
Chef Jimmy Lee. His Cantonese street
food kitchen has a prime spot. The Salt
& Chilli Soft Shell Crab is a particular
favourite. Other top choices include
the Scottish Honey Chilli Chicken and
General Tso’s Chicken.

A crowd pleaser that’s popular with
families, Chooks is a welcome refresh.
Their buttermilk fried chicken is
succulent, with various dip options as
well as mega waffle fries. Classic
chicken sandwich with pickles and
ranch sauce, and a cornflake special
with house slaw and hot honey.

in Scotland. Its wee shop sells local
