might call ‘artistic disasters’ ... and
refers to them as ‘learning curves’.
Most of her work actually sells and
she only retains a limited selection
of her paintings in her private
collection.
Kim admires the unique art of
Salvador Dali. She lists travel and
networking as useful practices which
enhance her creativity.
This creative lady has shared her
skills with a Bendigo primary school
recently – working with the children to
transform a 40 metre long blank wall
into an outstanding educational mural.
The finished masterpiece leads the
viewer through local forest vegetation
and rainforest to the sea – where it
finishes on the beach. It includes more
than 40 animals.
The ultimate goal for Kim Donald is
to make a comfortable living from her
love and passion ... which is art. n
