generation iPad Airs with a problem that
makes the screen go blank. iPad Airs bought
between March and October 2019 are affected and can
be fixed for free at an Apple Store. Apple says: “Apple
has determined that, under certain circumstances, the
screen on a limited number of iPad Air (3rd generation)
devices may go blank permanently. A brief flicker or
flash may appear before the screen goes blank.” The
repair program covers iPad s for two years from sale.Apple

technology, business, music and film. In
support of International Women’s Day on
March 8, the celebration runs throughout
March. “Celebrating the work, spirit andcontributions of women is so important
to Apple,” says Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s
senior vice president of Retail + People.
“We’re thrilled to recognise International
Women’s Day through the ‘She Creates’
programming series and bring these
experiences to our stores so everyone can
be inspired by some of the world’s most

announced Apple newsApple was inundated with entries into its iPhone photography
Night mode competition and it has begun sharing its favourites.
All shots were taken with the iPhone 11 range, and a star-studded
list of judges whittled down the entries to six winners. The winning images
will be in a gallery on apple.com and Apple’s Instagram (@apple), as well as
appearing globally on billboards. Of the photo above by Rubén P. Bescós
(iPhone 11 Pro Max), Apple’s Phil Schiller says: “Photography is the art of
light, and Ruben’s photo magically uses light to bring this art installation in
Spain to life. The colour in this Night mode image is a captivating orange,
