or the best security, you should use a
different, complex password for every
website, service and app. It’s hard to
remember more than three or four, but fortunately,
there are password managers to help us. All
we need to do is to remember one password
to access them all. The Mac has password
management features built in and while third-party

apps and extensions are tempting, macOS does
a great job and it is all many people need. Your
passwords can be accessed in more than one
place and web-related ones can be seen in Safari,
but other passwords must be accessed through
Keychain Access. Let’s see how to access web,
Wi-Fi and other passwords on the Mac. Any
changes you make are synced to iOS devices.

Sync passwords
Passwords stored on the Mac can be synced with other
Macs and iOS devices through iCloud. Any changes made to
passwords on the Mac are mirrored across your other Apple
devices. Open System Preferences>Internet Accounts and
select ‘iCloud’. Make sure Keychain is ticked to sync passwords
and login details. Repeat this on other Macs, iPhone and iPad.
