folders into your invisible folder and
they will not only be safe from prying

hen you share a Mac with other family members
within the same household, you may not want
to keep switching accounts whenever someone
else wants to use it. But what if you have lots of important
work stored on the Mac that you don’t want anyone else to
see or interfere with? One solution is to create an ‘invisible’
folder that only you know about. In previous Mac operating
systems this could be done by creating a folder, opening
your Terminal app, typing chflags hidden into Terminal and
then dragging the folder into the Terminal window to make it
vanish. However, there is an even simpler way, which we will
demonstrate here.
