If you see a what3words address in print, you can tap the scan icon in the
search bar and point your camera at it.

Move the sticker
The three words that indicate your
location are automatically placed within a
sticker. You can move the sticker around the
screen using your finger. Let go to place it.

Save the image
Tap the icon with the downward facing
arrow on it to save the image to your Camera
Roll. You may have to first grant what3words
permission to access your Photos.

Share location photos
To share the image, tap the large green
icon and you can choose a method such as
AirDrop, Messages, Mail and social media via
the share sheet that appears.

Import an image from Photos
You don’t have to snap a new photo to
make use of the sticker location function
of what3words. To import an existing
image, tap the Menu icon in the top-left
of the screen and select ‘Import A Photo’.
Choose the image you wish to use and
then enter a location or zoom into the map
to select an exact square.

You can make a very slight
alteration to the sticker’s size by
pulling your finger to the right of it
to make it a little larger and moving
back left to resize.

Choose a place
If you want to alter the location where
your image was taken, tap the Pin icon
and use the map to choose a new square
anywhere in the world.

Alter the colour
Tap the palette icon and you will
be able to choose from seven
different colours of text for your
sticker. Just tap the one you wish
to use.

Add a real location
Tap the style icon (Aa) and choose how
you want the sticker to look. You can
remove the background or even have the
closest location printed underneath the
three words.
