effects of our featured codes, simply enter the same code again.

Make a detailed check of your signal strength


Are the bars not accurate enough?
Then do the following...

Activate call forwarding
By entering *#21# and pressing call, you
will turn on call forwarding so that new calls go
straight to your voicemail. Enter the same code
again to resume normal service.

Disable call waiting
If you are persistently bothered by beeps
telling you that someone is calling you while
you are on a call, press *43 # and press call.
Enter the code again to re-enable this feature.

Check call line
If the person you are calling can’t see your
number then there may be a problem with
your number’s Calling Line Presentation. Enter
*#30# and press call to check it.

Check your minutes
There are also some handy codes to know if
you are on a pay-as-you-go contract. You can
press *646# to display your available minutes
and check the balance of your current bill by
pressing *225#. You can also enter *777# to
check your account balance. Utilising these
codes regularly should allow you to get a
better understanding of your iPhone use.

Enter Field Test Mode
On your Phone app keypad, enter
*3001#12345#* and press the call
button to enter Field Test Mode, which
provides the gateway for you to view
your iPhone’s true signal strength.

Check the quality
The rsrp0 (Reference Signal
Received Power) number relates
to your nearest cell tower, so the
closer that this number is to zero
the better your signal will be.

Access the option
While in Field Test Mode, tap on
the ‘LTE’ option and then select
‘Serving Call Meas’. You will now
be in the right place to scrutinise
your iPhone’s true signal.

Find the number
In the Serving Call Meas menu,
look out for the ‘rsrp0’ number.
This number will be a numerical
measurement of your iPhone’s
cellular signal strength in dBm.
