NEWSI OPINIONI GOSSIPI STUFF

2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave Wearing a new “Desert Rated” badge, the Gladiator Mojave trades “Trail Rated” rock
crawling chops for Ford Raptor–like desert running skills. The 2.5-inch Fox remote reservoir shocks and exclusive hydraulic jounce
bumpers cushion whoops and bumps, and 33-inch Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires provide grip in sand. Dana 44 axles (with an
electronic rear locker) get 4.10 gears, which, along with the new transfer case’s 2.72 low range, allow it to hit 50 mph in four low.

2021 Mercedes-Benz Weekender The factory-built
camper van returns, this time as a Mercedes-Benz Metris upfitted by
Driverge Vehicle Innovations to create a pop-up camper for up to four
people. The rear bench seat folds flat for sleeping, the front seats swivel
180 degrees for hanging out, there’s a pop-up table, and an auxiliary
battery keeps accessories and devices charged. You can even order a
pop-out kitchen, an 8-foot retractable awning, detachable bug screens,
and a tent that attaches to the tailgate.

2021 Chevrolet Equinox
Chevy’s compact crossover gets a new nose
for 2021, which looks rather like it was
pried off an Acura, to help keep it fresh
after three years on the market. Also new
is an RS trim level, which is just a styling
package with blacked-out trim and badges.
