Hyundai Palisade Quilted leather and handy features go beyond expectations
Kia Telluride Standing out in a crowded, popular field
Mazda CX-9 A plush cabin overridden by a poor infotainment system
If you remove the Hyundai badges, some people may think this is a luxury-brand
interior. The quilted leather in every row is distinct, and handy features like a button
that instantly moves the second-row seat forward make the Palisade stand out.
When Kia’s interior designers worked on the Telluride, they wanted the cabin
to stand out. The grab handles on the center console and the lines used on the
seats are distinct design elements that are not typically seen in this segment.
One feature we disliked the most in the CX-9 was the center console on the
second row. It’s big and bulky and doesn’t do much for rear passengers.
Regular armrests would do the job without taking so much space.
