Peugeot is coming back to the U.S. market,
and its newest models are a sign of
what the company has done to
improve its reliability and brand
identity since the bad old days.
The 3008 is a compact SUV
that slides between a Toyota
C-HR and RAV4 in terms of size,
and the upscale design and sharp
interior of our GT Line tester had
us wondering whether this was a
traditional SUV or a luxury crossover.

The pictures don’t do justice
to the Peugeot 3008. Its
refined lines and bold stance
differentiate it from other
SUVs on the road.

The City is Honda’s entry-level sedan
in Mexico. Developed specifically for
emerging markets, the City’s combina-
tion of a spacious interior, an affordable
price, and Honda’s great reputation has
made it quite popular south of the border.
Although the Japanese automaker’s


products in Latin America are regarded
as a bit more upscale than those from
other non-luxury automakers, it’s not
uncommon to see a City on the streets of
Mexico’s capital.
The subcompact City shares its plat-
form with the Fit but uses a different

engine and transmission. The 1.5-liter
naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine
produces 118 hp and 107 lb-ft of torque,
and a CVT sends power to the front
wheels. Although the City isn’t notable
for its quick ride or sharp handling,
it was easy to drive in an urban area
