5This edition of Bangkok Photo Walks is one that is based on a theme rather than a destination.
With Greg and Mark both out of Thailand, a walk around Bangkok would have been a little
too challenging to arrange and run. However, rather than skipping a month, the decision was
taken to run a photo project like our usual December editions. As a bonus, this allows any and
all Bangkok Photographers Group members to enter, regardless of where they live. This time,
the theme is black and white photography.
We recieved a total of 27 submissions. While most are from Bangkok-based members, a
few come from avid photographers overseas, adding a few new dimensions to the selection.
The styles and applications of black and white that BPG member came up with are many and
varied, as you’ll see in the following 104 pages.
For those who enjoy the walks (and the resultant photos and magazine), you’ll be happy to
know that Greg and Mark will both be back in Bangkok for August, so we will be returning to
some unique and fascinating part of the city for our next event.Have fun,
