THE MUST LIST

CHRISSY TEIGEN

If you follow her hilarious Twitter feed—where she often ribs her husband, John Legend—or have sampled a delicious recipe
from one of her Cravings cookbooks, you know the 34-year-old model/ host/author is quick with a quip. Now she’s settling real
claims disputes as a judge on Chrissy’s Court on new streamer Quibi (see page 72). Here are her rulings on the things she loves.

MY MUST LIST

MOVIE
PARASITE 2019
Written and Directed by Bong Joon Ho
“It took me way too long to see it
because I didn’t know anything about
it,” Teigen says of the Best Picture
winner. “And it ended up being one of
my favorite films I’ve ever seen. Then
I went on this crazy Bong [binge],
and I fell in love with Snowpiercer and
Mother. So that’s what I love now.”

BOOK
PEOPLE WHO EAT DARKNESS
By Richard Lloyd Parry
Chrissy Teigen’s taste in
books runs the gamut from
Jessica Simpson’s recent
memoir—“It’s really wonder-
ful!”—to true crime—“I don’t
think I can fit another
piece of info about Ted Bundy
into my head.” This 2012
thriller “about a murder in
Japan was fascinating to me.”

BONUS
KALUSTYAN’S SPICE STORE
“I love aimlessly walking
through,” she says of the
legendary New York City
Indian food shop. “That’s
a place you can go with no
list or anything and get so
inspired. It’s just walls upon
walls of spices and herbs
and things you’ve never
seen or heard of. It’s a very
magical place. I love it.”

MUSIC
DESTINY’S CHILD
8 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
“We listen to Christmas
music year-round,” Teigen
says. This girl group’s
season’s greetings are
“definitely way up there.”

FROZEN THE MUSICAL
“It was beautiful,” she says
of the Disney theatrical
adaptation. “Anna and Elsa
were funnier in it than
they were in the movie, like
cheekier. Our kids loved
it. And it was great for the
adults.... They change it
enough to where it’s still
entertaining, because
every parent in there has
probably seen Frozen at
least 300 times.”

TV
CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM HBO
“We watch a ton,” she says
of the Larry David cringe
comedy. “Actually, last night,
while John was sleeping,
I watched his [episode].... It
was so funny to watch
because you could tell how
nervous and young he was.”
