CERN,theEuropeanLaboratoryforParticlePhysics,is oneofthe
world’slargestandmostrespectedcentresforscientific research.Its
coremissionis thestudyofthefundamentalconstituentsofmatter
and other elementary particles using high-energy accelerators;
it addressessome ofthemost exciting outstandingquestions in
physics.Thelaboratory,basedinGeneva(Switzerland),currently
operates the most powerful accelerator in theworld, the Large
HadronCollider(LHC).

CERN is an Intergovernmental Organization with 23 Member
States.It employsaround 2500 staffmembers(physicists,engineers,
technical and administrative personnel). Its research facilities
areusedbymorethan 13000 scientists,comingfrommorethan
600 institutesfromallovertheworldandrepresentingnearly 100
differentnationalities.

CERNis seeking torecruit a DirectorforFinance andHuman
Resources.
Asa memberoftheDirectorate,reportingtotheDirector-General,
theDirectorforFinanceandHumanResourceswillplaya leading
role in ensuring that the Organization’s financial and human
resourcesmatchitsscientific goalsandallowefficientoperationof
theLaboratory’sfacilities.

and/orinvestmentandfinancialmanagementstrategies.(2)AFCIMonforensic
investigations:(i)previoussubstantiveexperienceoroversightata seniorlevel
in forensicinvestigations;and(ii)experience withdevelopment work-planning
activities,guidelines,processes/procedurestoconductinvestigationsoffinancial
expenses,legal,internalcontrols.(3)EGCIMonethics:(i)substantiveexperience
