Long-Term Goals
Long-term goals are often referred to as
"big-picture" goals.
They typically span a considerable
period, ranging from several months to
years or even a lifetime. Long-term goals
provide a sense of direction and serve as
the foundation for creating shorter-term
objectives.
They help individuals define their
overarching aspirations and set a course
for their future.
Short-Term Goals
Short-term goals are smaller, more
immediate objectives that contribute to
the achievement of long-term goals.
These goals are usually achievable within
a few weeks to a few months. Short-term
goals act as stepping stones towards
larger accomplishments, providing a
sense of progress and momentum along
the journey.
They help individuals break down
complex tasks into manageable actions.
