STEVE ROGERS MAY have passed on

the Captain America baton to Sam Wilson

(Anthony Mackie) in Endgame, but this is the

first time we actually see Sam practicing with

the shield.

Previously the only thing that Sam and

Bucky (Sebastian Stan) had in common was a

shared best friend. How will they cope when

they have to team up to bring down Zemo

(Daniel Brühl)?

Sam will have some competition for the

Captain America role, as the US army wants

to give it to John Walker (Wyatt Russell), AKA

the US Agent.

SPRING 2021

THE NEW TRAILER for Loki shows the title

treatment going through a number of changes

before settling on the final version. This

could be a nod to the different time periods/

universes that the show is set in, or even to

Loki’s famous shape-shifting tendencies.

Our one glimpse of Loki (Tom Hiddleston)

in the trailer sees him wearing the logo of the

Time Variance Authority, an organisation that

polices the timelines of the multiverse.

There isn’t much information out there

right now on Loki but we have to wait a little

longer for this one, with the release being set

for 2021.

ALSO STARRING... Owen Wilson, Gugu

Mbatha-Raw and Sophia Di Martino are also

set to appear.

WANDAVISION

DECEMBER 2020

WANDAVISION SEES WANDA (Elizabeth

Olsen) trapped in a variety of classic sitcom

settings with her deceased love Vision (Paul

Bettany). In one, she’s wearing a nod to her

classic Scarlet Witch costume.

This sitcom world is clearly not real, with

real-world Wanda seen encroaching on it. One

of the sitcom flashes shows Wanda and Vision

looking down on twin cots – in the comics,

these twins go on to become Young Avengers

Wiccan and Speed.

ALSO STARRING... WandaVision is bringing

back Kat Dennings as Thor’s Darcy and

Randall Park as Ant Man And The Wasp’s

Jimmy Woo, while Teyonah Parris is a grown-

up Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn is in

an undisclosed role.
