Christophe Wauters
is a Belgian citizen. As he approaches his 50th birthday, he will be celebrating about
5 years under the spell of photography. In early 2020, just before the pandemic
started, he joined a Bangkok Photographers Group photo walk. Just after that, he
had the good fortune of finding himself stranded on a Malaysian island for almost
the entire lockdown period, until December 2021. A bounty of stunning clicks
resulted. Sadly, circumstances demanded his return to Belgium, where his camera has
stayed in its case for most of the time. He’s keen to get it out more this year, though.
