Simone Genovese
is a 49-year-old Italian photographer who inherited his passion for photography from his
father and was later inspired by Magnum photographers. In 2018, he moved to
Thailand to follow his career as a corporate lawyer in an international insurance
company. There, he was able to upskill his photography thanks to the support
and inspiration of the Bangkok Photographers Group. Street photography,
portraits, and landscapes are his preferred subjects. He nurtured the secret
dream to become a reportage and war photography, but his professional life
took another road, so far.
