Suzanne Fitzpatrick

Hi, my name is Suzanne and I have been taking photographs for well over 30 years (Yikes!).

Developing film and printing in the darkroom was magical for me and I sepia-toned all my prints and sometimes,
hand painted them with Marshall photo oils. I often would load up the car with friends and costumes and seek out
a ruined building or graveyard.
In the early 80’s I won a couple of Kodak Awards, which fuelled my passion to continue on.
When the digital world took over, I found it difficult to make the transition and for many years I fumbled with the
new technology.

It wasn’t until I discovered Sebastian Michaels Photo Artistry course that my infatuation and joy for photography
returned and I love looking for beauty everywhere, even among the ruins and rubbish.
On Sept 6, 2017, Hurricane Irma sucked up our life in the Caribbean, ripping off our roof and inhaling the land-
scape and all our belongings. Because of this my husband and I made another move to his roots in Cornwall, UK
where we have started from scratch again and hope to reconnect with family and make a home filled with peace
and no fierce winds. Soon I plan to upload photos and a blog about Irma on my website.
