Jason Aldean has finally
figured out balance! “In the
early days, I was playing 200 shows a
year and was never at home,” the
country music superstar, 42, tells Us.
“Now I’ve made it a point to scale
back.” The father of four — to Keeley,
17, and Kendyl, 12, with ex Jessica
Ussery; and Memphis, 2, and Navy, 1,
with wife Brittany Kerr — says he’s
spending time at home in Tennessee
ahead of the summer leg of his
We Back Tour, sponsored by Corona
Light. He tells Us more about his
sextet.
Q: Do your kids come on tour?

I leave that up to my wife. It’s a lot.
Four kids on a 40-foot bus for a
weekend gets a little crazy. In the
summer it’s a little better, because
we can get them off the bus and let
them run around outside.
Q: Are any of your children
interested in music?
My oldest daughter started playing
guitar a couple years ago, so she’s get-
ting the music bug.
Q: Do they understand just how
famous their dad is?
The older ones are starting to. When
I come on the radio, Memphis knows
it’s me. I hope they think I’m cool.

Country Cuties

Aldean’s youngest, Navy (above,
with Dad), “is almost walking,” the
proud papa gushes to Us. “She kind
of took a couple steps the other
day, so we’re getting close.” The
toddler has two bottom teeth and
one popping out on top, Aldean
says. “She’s working on a full set,”
the star shares with a laugh.

Aldean’s family
joined him on his
tour in Illinois
on Feb. 13.
