More than 20 years after four high school friends formed the
comedy troupe the Tenderloins, their TruTV hidden-camera
prank show Impractical Jokers has crossed 200 episodes,
and they’re headed into theaters this week with Impractical
Jokers: The Movie. They recall some favorite antics.

Pushing for justice from behind bars

DRAMANicholas Pinnock, a British actor probably best known here
for the Netflix series Marcella, plays Aaron Wallace. He’s a
Bronx prison inmate, wrongly convicted, who serves as a lawyer
for fellow convicts. Life packs in more plot than strictly
necessary—it wants to connect Wallace to a broader picture of
corruption in New York City—but Pinnock’s performance has real
fire. And what a commanding stare! (ABC, Tuesdays, 10 p.m.)

Brian Quinn
“I had to pull the
lever to stop a
Universal Studios
tram-car tour
every few
minutes. The
looks and
comments I got
still haunt me.”

James Murray
“I was forced to
interview my
childhood crush,
Danica McKellar
from The Wonder
Years, greased
up [like a body-
builder] and in my
underwear!”

Sal Vulcano
“I now have a
tattoo of a
15-year-old
Jaden Smith on
my thigh—thanks
to Joe, who had
us get tattoos we
couldn’t see until
they were done.”

Joe Gatto
“We played
photographers
and had the
legendary Jeff
Daniels stage a
flip out. I couldn’t
believe I was
making comedy
with him.”
