Yorkshire Ambulance Service said they were called to King George Dock at around 11.30am yesterday.


“We sent two rapid response vehicles, three emergency ambulances, two doctors and our Hazardous Area
Response Team to the scene,” a spokesperson said.


“We transported three patients to Hull Royal Infirmary and seven patients were checked over on scene but
did not need conveying to hospital.”

The provisional cause of death for the Vietnamese nationals was a combination of suffocation and
overheating in an enclosed space, according to Essex Police.
