Travel Book - Guilvinec to Dubrovnik 2023

(Yoanna lpmgvrra-aD) #1

On Sunday, we had an appointment at 7am to board the
catamaran operated by the "Krilo" company. We were fortunate
to leave the port of Pula with a beautiful sunrise that everyone
enjoyed really much.

The ship stopped on a few islands for a short time to pick up
passengers. First, we went to Unije, then Susak, Mali Lošinj
, Ilovik, Silba, and to finish : Zadar. It took us 5 hours with all the
stops to get there.

When we arrived in Zadar, the chief engineer made us visit
the engine room. It is equipped with two engines of 3000hp
each.

During the crossing, we were lucky to visit the bridge of the
ship. There were 3 bridges in total: a central one for navigation
and one on each side for the maneuvers (which facilitates the
visibility on the quay).

We found this crossing really pleasant, and we were really
happy to be allowed to visit this beautiful ship with the crew.
We loved to see a part of the Croatian coast from the sea.
The landscapes were magnificent and the crew was super
nice to us. One of our classmates loved it so much he might
even try to do his next internship with this company...
